A new cycle begins today, and with it, we set out on fresh journeys. Whether it’s promising to finally hit the gym, start a book club, eat healthier, or spend more time with family and friends, most of us begin the year with high hopes and ambitious resolutions. Sound familiar? Welcome to the club! 🙌
I’ve been there too—starting strong in January, only to forget my promises by February. And let’s be honest, it’s easy to dismiss it: “Oh, it’s just me. Who cares?” But here’s the truth: YOU care. And when you fall short on your goals, it impacts more than just you. Think about those days when you’re irritated because you skipped the gym, and then you snap at your kids for no reason. Sound familiar? It’s time to break that cycle.
Over the years, I’ve learned that having someone to hold you accountable makes all the difference. That’s why I’m sharing my 2025 newsletter structure with you—so you can help me stick to it! 💪
This year, I’m taking a fresh approach to help us grow both personally and professionally by aligning our themes with the natural cycles of the year. 🌱☀️🍂❄️
You can read the rest of the post on my new Substack newsletter!
Here’s what you can expect:
👉 Monthly Themes: Each month, we’ll explore a theme inspired by the season, starting with Motivation in January. Together, we’ll dive into setting meaningful goals and keeping the momentum alive.
👉 Weekly Content: Every Wednesday, I’ll publish a newsletter introducing the week’s sub-theme. Smaller, actionable posts will follow to keep the conversation going.
👉 New Platforms: I’m expanding the discussion to X and Threads, so if you’re active there, come join the conversation!
Why this structure? I believe professional growth is cyclical, just like nature. When we align our goals with the rhythms of the natural world, our growth becomes more sustainable and meaningful.
Starting with Motivation 🌟
January’s theme is Motivation—the perfect kick-off for the year. Why? Because let’s face it: after the excitement of setting New Year’s resolutions fades, staying motivated can be tough. So, how can we make it stick this time?
Here are three practical tips:
1️⃣ Find a Buddy
Just like I’m sharing my newsletter structure with you, share your goals with someone who can hold you accountable. A buddy who checks in and encourages you can make all the difference.
2️⃣ Focus on ONE Goal
Don’t overwhelm yourself by trying to change everything at once. Choose one meaningful resolution and give it your full attention. It’s better to master one goal than quit on five.
3️⃣ Make Your Goal SMART
Set a goal that’s:
- Specific: Clearly define what you want to achieve. For example, my goal is to write a newsletter each week with a specific monthly theme. 💪
- Measurable: I’ll know I’m succeeding if I publish my newsletters and see your engagement!
- Achievable: This goal is doable as long as I stay organized and motivated—and your feedback helps keep me on track!
- Relevant: This matters to me because I’m passionate about connecting personal growth with nature’s cycles.
- Time-bound: Each theme lasts a month, so I have clear deadlines to work toward.
New Year’s resolutions are a powerful way to start fresh. With a buddy, a focused goal, and the SMART framework, I’m confident you can achieve yours, too.
So, let’s start strong! 💪 Like this post, follow along, and let’s hold each other accountable for an incredible 2025.
Thank you for being part of this journey—I can’t wait to grow together. 🌟
